Java Swing Developer - Calgary

Skills:

Java, Swing, GUI Development Experience, RV Messaging, preferably experience with Fixed Income products

Principal Responsibilities:
* Analyze, develop, and delivery technology solutions to satisfy the sales force*s requirements for the credit derivatives business. Much of the development will be in Goldman*s proprietary risk management and trading platform technology.
* Application development in Java Swing front-end communicating over rv messaging to C++/Java services.
* Perform design and code reviews for team members.
* Integrate derivatives functionality into strategic java-based sales trading application.

Experience/Skills:
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong communications skills
* Strong (5+ years) experience in Java application development.
* GUI experience needs to be in Java/Swing
* Experienced in fixed income trading, especially in credit derivatives.
* Should be able to manage projects and work independently
* Experience working in fixed income, credit products, derivatives
